Dr Kim Alan Williams was born and raised in inner-city Chicago, and attended the College of The University of Chicago, followed by the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine, internal medicine residency at Emory University, and overlapping fellowships in Cardiology at the University of Chicago, Clinical Pharmacology, and Nuclear Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
Among numerous awards and honors for his teaching in the medical school, residencies and fellowships, he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha in 2008. In 2010, he became the Dorothy Susan Timmis Endowed Professor of Medicine and Radiology and Chairman of the Division of Cardiology at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. At Wayne State, he has started the Urban Cardiology Initiative—a program of education of physicians on disparities in healthcare, primary school education on cardiovascular health and community health screening in inner city Detroit.
Dr. Williams now serves as the Chief of the Division of Cardiology and is the James B. Herrick Endowed Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at Rush University Medical Center. He is also Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Disease Reversal and Prevention Digest (IJDRP).
Dr. Stoll is the co-founder of the Plantrician Project, the International Plant Based Nutrition Healthcare Conference, the International Journal of Disease Reversal and Prevention, and the Regenerative Health Institute, a unique collaborative project with Rodale Institute that integrates health with agricultural and environmental regeneration. He is a member of the Google FoodLab think tank, serves on the advisory board at Whole Foods for their healthcare clinics and served as a member of the Whole Foods Scientific and Medical Advisory Board. Every year, Dr. Stoll hosts the very popular one-week health immersion, Dr. Stoll’s Immersion in Naples, Florida and helps attendees recover lost health, overcome addictions, and restore emotional balance.
In addition to authoring several books and scientific articles, hosting his own daily TV and radio programs, Dr. Stoll has appeared on numerous national shows including the Dr. Oz Show, hosting a 2018 PBS special Food As Medicine, and numerous documentaries including Eating You Alive, Wait Till It’s Free, and The Game Changers. Apart from being a published author, he is a highly sought-after international speaker. Dr. Stoll and his family live in Franklin, Tennessee.
Dr. Sherzai finished two residencies at Loma Linda University; preventive medicine and neurology. She also holds a master’s in advanced sciences from UCSD. Subsequent to completing her residency, Dr. Sherzai completed a fellowship in vascular neurology from Columbia University, and is currently enrolled to finish a PhD in women’s leadership. Knowing the importance of empowering her patients, and their communities Ayesha completed an extensive culinary training program and now teaches large populations how to make tasty, easy, and healthy food for their brain health.
Dean Ornish, MD Dean Ornish, M.D., is the founder and president of the non-profit Preventive Medicine Research Institute and Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF. He received his medical training from the Baylor College of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, and the Massachusetts General Hospital. For over 40 years, he has directed clinical research demonstrating for the first time that comprehensive lifestyle changes may begin to reverse even severe coronary heart disease and also early-stage prostate cancer. The ‘Ornish Diet’ has been rated “#1 for Heart Health” by a panel of experts at U.S. News & World Report for ten years from 2011-2021.
Dr Ornish is currently directing the first randomized controlled trial to determine if these lifestyle changes may reverse the progression of early Alzheimer’s disease. Among his many accolades, he has been recognized as “one of the 125 most extraordinary University of Texas alumni in the past 125 years;” won a “National Public Health Hero” award from the University of California, Berkeley; recognised by TIME magazine as a “TIME 100 Innovator;” by LIFE magazine as “one of the fifty most influential members of his generation;” by People magazine as “one of the most interesting people of the year;” and by Forbes magazine as “one of the world’s seven most powerful teachers.”
Dr. Reshma Shah is a board-certified pediatrician and adjunct instructor at Stanford University. She obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Shah serves as an instructor for Stanford’s Healthy Living Program and oversees the nutrition curriculum for the Stanford University Pediatric Integrative Medicine Fellowship. She has received teaching awards from Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and from Stanford University School of Medicine.
She has additional training and certification in plant-based nutrition and cooking. Most recently she co-authored the award-winning book, Nourish: The Definitive Plant-Based Nutrition Guide for Families. She lives in the Bay Area with her family. Most Sundays you can find her at local farmers market where she finds inspiration for weekly meals.
Cyrus Khambatta, PhD earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 2003, then earned a PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry from the University of California at Berkeley in 2012. He is the co-author of many peer-reviewed scientific publications. He is the co-founder of Mastering Diabetes and Amla Green, and is an internationally recognized nutrition and fitness coach who has been living with type 1 diabetes since 2002. He co-created the Mastering Diabetes Method to reverse insulin resistance in all forms of diabetes, and has helped more than 10,000 people improve their metabolic health using low-fat, plant-based, whole-food nutrition, intermittent fasting, and exercise.
He is the co-host of the annual Mastering Diabetes Online Summit, a featured speaker at the Plant-Based Nutrition and Healthcare Conference (PBNHC), the American College of Lifestyle Medicine Conference (ACLM), Plant Stock, the Torrance Memorial Medical Center, and has been featured on NPR, KQED, Forks Over Knives, Healthline, Fast Company, Diet Fiction, and the wildly popular podcasts Plant Proof and Nutrition Rounds. He is a co-author of the book Mastering Diabetes with Robby Barbaro, MPH.

Dr. Dean Sherzai is a behavioral neurologist / neuroscientist whose entire life has been dedicated to behavioral change models at the community and population level. He has revolutionized the world of public health nationally and internationally. Dean finished his medical and neurology residencies at Georgetown University with a subsequent fellowship in neurodegenerative diseases at the National Institutes of Health, followed by a second fellowship in Dementia and Geriatrics at the University of California, San Diego. He also holds two master’s Degrees; in advanced sciences at UCSD and in lifestyle epidemiology from Loma Linda University. He has received a PhD in Healthcare leadership focused on community empowerment from Loma Linda/Andrews University.
Finally, he completed the executive leadership program at Harvard Business School. His vision has always been to revolutionize healthcare by empowering communities to take control of their own health.

Sant Chaiyodsilp MD (FCTS, FRCST, FRCFMT) is the Senior Consultant and Specialist at Check-up Center, Phyathai 2 Hospital and Chief Wellness Coach at Mega Wellness We Care. Taking inspiration from his own life journey, where he reversed his own ischemic heart condition with a plant-based while food diet and minus any kind of surgeries, the heart surgeon-turned-family physician promotes the idea that heart disease can be reversed with a plant-based whole food diet. As a surgeon, he has treated patients in Greenland Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand and Saraburi Regional Hospital, Saraburi, Thailand, before joining Rachavithi Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand in 1993. He served as the Director of Phyathai Heart Center, Phyathai 2 Hospital, Bangkok in 1999 and became the Executive Director at the same hospital in 2002. He was the Director and Executive Director at Kasemrad Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand.
Currently, he is the President of The Thai Resuscitation Foundation, and Council Member of The Thai Resuscitation Foundation (Thai Heart Association).
